PBOC sees China GDP at 6.8% in 2016

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The People’s Bank of China’s (PBOC) working paper showed the central banks sees the economy expanding 6.8% in 2016.

The paper says, “2016 GDP growth to remain stable in a reasonable range and the impact of fiscal and monetary policy will be seen in 5-9 months.”

Key forecasts

2016 baseline CPI forecast +1.7%

Imports to rise 2.3%

Exports to rise 3.1%

Fixed asset investment to rise 10.8%
