EU’s Senior Brexit Negotiator Weyand: "Nothing new" had emerged from talks this week
The UK’s Telegraph cites comments delivered by the European Union (EU) Senior Brexit Negotiator Sabine Weyand at a meeting with EU27 diplomats in Brussels.
Weyand poured cold water on hopes for a Brexit deal being reached later this month.
"Nothing new" had emerged from talks this week with Olly Robbins, Theresa May's chief Brexit adviser. "There are now new ideas," she warned.
This comes after the UK Brexit Minister Dominic Raab said that he expects the Brexit deal to be reached by November, 21.
