US Senate Majority Leader McConnell: Cost of Republican coronavirus response bill about $1 trillion

US Senate Leader Mitch McConnell confirmed early-Tuesday in Asian that the cost of Republican coronavirus (COVID-19) response bill is about $1 trillion.

Earlier during the day, Reuters suggested the Senate Republicans back $10 billion in additional aid for US airports while also saying that the US house lawmakers sign letter and warning additional bailout funds needed to save nearly one million airline industry jobs.
