USD/CHF fall to 2-week low at 0.9031

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The US dollar weakened significantly against the Euro and the Swiss Franc during the American session, reaching fresh weekly lows. The USD/CHF lost 30 pips in the last hour and fell brom 0.9060 to 0.9031, level not seen since July 25.

The pair remains near daily lows, under pressure. Currently trades at 0.9047, down 0.45% for the day. With today’s decline it lost weekly gains and is now headed toward a flat close, after rising in the previous three weeks.

USD/CHF levels to consider

To the upside, immediate resistance lies at 0.9070 (intraday level), followed by 0.9085 and 0.9100. Support levels might be seen at the 0.9030 area (daily low) and 0.9015.

USD will profit from Russian and western world tensions - Commerzbank

Lutz Karpowitz, analyst at Commerzbank, thinks that if economic tensions between Russia and the western world escalate further, this would have an increasing effect on the FX market.
